Kikuka Sho[OP]<Nov. 11, 1984>: Came out of the pack in the final straight to win the race, defeating his rival who came from the outside. He becomes the first horse in the history of Japanese central racing to win the Classic Triple Crown without losing a race. At the award ceremony, Okabe held up three fingers to indicate the Triple Crown.

Japan Cup[OP]<Nov. 25, 1984>: The first Triple Crown race at the time pitted the previous year’s Triple Crown winner, Mr. CB, against each other. Symboli-Rudolf was not in good shape, as he had diarrhea and was a week away from Kikuka-Sho. The result of the race was a third-place finish, and the first place went to the Takarazuka Kinen horse, Katsuragi Ace, who ran away with the victory to become the first-ever Japanese horse to win the Japan Cup. Symboli Rudolf’s winning streak was stopped at eight.

Arima Kinen[OP]<Dec. 23, 1984>: It was a three-horse race between Symboli-Rudolf, Mr. CB, and Katsuragi Ace. In the race, Simbolildorf marked Katsuragi Ace in second place and caught him in the final straight to win in record time. He became the first four-year-old in the history of Central Japan Racing to win the four-year-old crown. Okabe held up four fingers at the awards ceremony.

Tennou-sho (Autumn)[OP]<Oct. 27, 1985>: Got off to a slow start and was at the back of the pack. The pace was fast, and he got hung up in the middle of the race. He was overtaken from the outside in the final straight and finished second. It was reported that Simbolildorf was in tears of regret in his stable after his defeat.
